T+1 settlement

T+1 is the default rolling settlement cycle for cash equities on NSE and BSE.

Indian cash equities currently settle on a default T+1 rolling cycle after a phased transition from T+2 completed in January 2023.

On trade day T, obligations are calculated and securities and funds settle on the next business day.

Optional T+0 is a separate, limited parallel cycle for an exchange-notified list and does not replace T+1.

Corporate-action cut-offs and BTST timing reference the prevailing T+1 calendar.
